Tommie Lofqvist Animation Director

Tommie Löfqvist - Animation Director / Supervisor
For more than two decades I’ve been shaping performance and storytelling through movement. From feature animation and cinematic game projects to high-end visual effects, my focus has always been the same: bringing truth, rhythm, and emotional clarity to every frame.
I’ve led and directed animation teams across studios such as Ubisoft, King, DICE, Milford Film and Steamroller Animation.
Over the years I’ve helped craft moments for films like How to Train Your Dragon 2, Puss in Boots, Megamind, Rise of the Guardians, and a long list of cinematic and narrative projects — from AAA games to independent features.
I’m at my best where performance meets design; when movement serves story and rhythm carries emotion. Whether it’s a single pose that sells intent or a long “oner” sequence that drives narrative, I enjoy building a world where every action feels lived-in and believable.
Beyond studio work, I share my experience through mentoring, creative talks, and workshops focused on the art of performance, intent posing, and team storytelling.
